What Is A Five Minute Book Club?

Everyone loves the concept of a book club, but there is often guilt and procrastination involved. When Friday Forward published last fall, I had multiple readers share with me that they’d made individual stories from the book the basis of mini book clubs, discussing one post at each meeting. Each post takes just five minutes to read but offers a topic that can lead to deep discussion.

I hope you will give The Five-Minute Book club a try with your friends, family, team or co-workers. You can come up with your own discussion questions or use the brand new Friday Forward Journal, which offers a prompt for each story and a place to take notes.

Also, if you are a member of a book club with over 100 members and pick Friday Forward as one of your club’s selections, I’ll join your club for a virtual session. Reach out to Mick Sloan at msloan(at)accelerationpartners(dot)com if you’re interested in learning more.
